Frequently Asked Questions

If you are a new patient, we will schedule you with the dentist of your preference (if you provide one at the time of booking) or you will be seen by a dentist who has availability on their schedule that day. Returning patients will continue to see their previous dentists. If there is someone in particular you are hoping to be seen by, feel free to tell us when you contact us. Occasionally, unexpected changes happen to our schedule and you may need to be seen by a different dentist, if necessary.

Which dentist will I be seeing?

What if I want to reschedule with a different dentist than the one I have been seeing?

That is totally fine. Just tell us this when you contact us.

We offer a full range of preventative (e.g., periapical x-rays, 2D OPGs, 3D scans/ CBCT, routine check-ups, hygiene, scale and polish, airflow, mouthguards), restorative (e.g., white fillings, dental crowns, porcelain veneers, dental bridges, root canal treatments under microscope), and aesthetic dental services (e.g., teeth whitening). Read more about our treatments here.

What services do you offer?

What if I need something not listed?

If the specific treatment you need is not listed, contact us. Chances are we do it, or if not we will refer you to a trusted partner. Our experienced dentists offer a full range of preventative, restorative, and aesthetic dental care.

At the end of your first visit, we will schedule your next visit before you leave. Or, if you need more time to figure out your diary, just contact us afterwards and we will find you a time.

How do I book a follow-up visit?

Do you do paediatric (children) dentistry?

Certainly, we welcome children at our dental clinic, and recommend you bring them in for their first appointment by their first birthday.

If another dentist has recommended that you get a treatment done and you want a second opinion, we are more than happy to provide one, just contact us. If you are one of our patients and we recommend a procedure, you are more than welcome to seek a second opinion. We will provide you with our proposed treatment plan to take to another dentist.

What if I want a second opinion?

If you are late for your appointment, we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible, but keep in mind that your appointment may need to be shortened or need to be rescheduled depending on the circumstances.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will consider your appointment cancelled and you will be charged a deposit in order to secure future appointments. Contact us if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, just make sure to do so at least 24 hours before your appointment time.

If you fail to cancel or reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours before the appointment time, you will be charged a deposit in order to secure future appointments. The deposit will count towards the treatment cost if you attend your appointment. Failing to attend an appointment for which you have been charged a deposit or failing to abide by the above cancellation policy, leads to forfeiture of the deposit. This is because we have reserved that time specifically for your dental care, and our appointments are in very high demand.

What if I miss my appointment?

We schedule our appointments with enough time to give you thorough dental care while also making sure you are completely comfortable and safe. A new patient examination and hygiene appointment generally takes about 1 hour for new patients. Check-ups take about 30 minutes. A whitening treatment takes about 2 hours. A white filling appointment takes about 60 minutes.

How long do appointments take?

When should I arrive for my appointment?

You should arrive for your appointment 5-10 minutes before when it is scheduled to begin. This is because new patients would have to complete a medical questionnaire and returning patients will need to update it from time to time.
